Great breakdown on Curology Jenny! I’ve always been curious about this brand but it’s not available where I live.

  3. Melissa says:

After 6 years are you still only using 0.012% Tret..?

    • Jenny says:

It’s the % that works best for me so yes, I’ve stuck with it. I might be able to move to the next %, I might try it in the future!

  4. Wendy says:

I started on curology with the same formula .05 tretinoin, .04 niacinimide, and .04 azaleic acid. This formula was too strong so my provider reduced the treinoin to .012 and left the azaleic acid and niacinimide the same. Is there a reason your derm gave for only adding azaleic acid if tretinoin was at .05?

    • Jenny says:

At that time they said that was the lowest tretinoin strength available if I wanted to keep azaleic acid :( I’m glad they’ve since improved their formula options and allowed a lower dosage!

curology is such an interesting concept! it’s like getting prescription from a dermatologist but without physically going to the dermatologist. there is no such service in indonesia, at least none that i know of so this is the first time i’ve heard of curology.
your skincare products are such a dream! i’ve always wanted to try out so many skincare products but they’re expensive so i mostly settle for drugstore ones. your skincare regime sounds so complex too! hahaha i only settle with the same products everyday xD

    • Jenny says:

I think this is the first of its type in the US, though with everything being digital now, I can see online dermatology really taking off!
I think my skincare routine overall doesn’t have too many steps (for an Asian routine at least), but I do switch things up depending on how my skin feels ? For me applying skincare products is super therapeutic, so it’s something I’ll spend my money on to get the results!

Hi Jenny, this was such an informative post! I was not familiar with Curology and how the service worked, but I could absolutely see the need and realize that a lot of people could benefit from it. Thank you also for sharing your tips on how to best use these services!

Thank you so much for your comment Cat! It’s definitely a great alternative than seeing a dermatologist, which can be expensive if not covered by insurance!

  7. Angelle Marix says:

Wow, I loved reading this thorough review about this line of products. I personally have the most sensitive skin and constantly looking for the best products for my skin type. I need to look into purchasing this Asap.

Thank you Angelle! The great thing about Curology is that you’ll have a licensed health care provider creating your formula, so you know it’ll work well for your skin type :)

I’ve never heard of this company before! That’s so cool! I’ve used Cera Ve in the past and that’s a good alternative for sure.
