  1. Wait…so you use it after serum, peel it off and then you just apply the moisturizer in the top? Do you need to rinse after peeling it off? Or run toner all over again? I really want to get this because I have nothing like this before!

Yep! No need to rinse as it doesn’t leave any residue on your skin at all! If you’re on the drier side you can definitely add some extra hydration with a mist or a toner, otherwise you just apply moisturizer and you’re done! It’s definitely very different from any other masks I’ve tried in the past! ?

Oooh, thanks for introducing this . . . though I am not sure if I’ll ever go for it. For some reason, I am not fond of the peeling mask ^^;;; Is detoxing/deep-cleansing the same thing as exfoliating? I ask because I was wondering if a sugar scrub ala Skinfood one is also good for detoxing/deep-cleansing. XD I enjoy putting that on my face, haha.

I’m glad this product works for you and is an option for those who need different options :)

You’re welcome Tara and thanks for reading!

A detoxing/deep cleaning mask is more about removing the dirt/sebum that are trapped deep in our pores that we may have missed during our daily cleansing. It can also help remove some dead skin cells, especially in the case of a peel off mask.

Exfoliating, especially with physical scrubs like the Skinfood one, is mainly to remove any dead skin cells and increase cell turnover rate. So there’s a bit of an overlap between the two, but for the most part they serve different purposes, which is why I like to use them together (scrub, followed by a detox mask). Though I think if you have normal/dry skin, you probably don’t need both – it all depends on the condition of your skin :)

  3. I have been hearing about this brand for the longest time but have never tried it. I’m not sure where I would purchase it here in Canada though. Anyways, the mask sounds so wonderful and sounds like something I would really like for sure especially since it’s not drying and there are no tightness. Great review! xx
