As many of you know, I spent the last month of my summer vacation in Taiwan and oh my gosh, it was definitely one of the best months of my life :D Hot weather aside, everything about Taiwan was just frickin amazing. It sounds weird coming from someone who has actually lived there for a couple years, but I guess it’s because I’ve never really explored the capital until now.
Of course, part of exploring means shopping, and shopping means…HAULS! Check back frequently for updated links :)

Next, the food is to die for, and it’s ridiculously cheap too. All you can eat hot-pot for $15 a person? Um, heck yes! :D
I don’t think I’ve encountered a single dish I didn’t like when I was in Taiwan, no joke. Even my friend thought the rice balls from the convenience stores were delicious, lol.
Asides for being well-known for its scrumptious food, Taiwan is also known among the Asian party crowd as having an amazing nightlife. Everyone who’s been clubbing in Taiwan raves to me about it, and I’ve heard that a friend of a friend actually flies to Taiwan every weekend from Hong Kong just to party. Of course, that’s a little crazy, but after experiencing the nightlife myself, I can seriously say that the clubs in Taipei puts the clubs in DC, AC, and Miami[2. The only 3 cities I’ve been clubbing at.] to shame.
Lastly, I like to think of Taiwan as the only place where I can get good hair cuts without blowing a hole in my wallet -_- Although I must say, prices have gone up over the years, but still, at least my hair won’t look like crap :)
Needless to say, my friend[3. Who visited Taiwan for only a week for the first time] and I were miserable on the return flight back to the US. Well, I was miserable because I missed my parents as well, but we both missed the fun and excitement of Taipei :( The only thought cheering me up is that in a few more months, I’ll get to go back again. Yay! :D
