Not going to lie, it’s been a struggle lately to find motivation to regularly update my blog. However, I’m always encouraged when I see the comments and emails, so I’m aiming for at least 1 post a week. Today I’d like to share some of my recent jewelry hauls from Daily Vice :)
I mentioned Daily Vice in my Summer Accessories Update post, and lately it’s been my go-to place to shop for jewelry. It’s an iPhone app that sells a unique piece of jewelry (sometimes sunglasses too!) at a discounted price for 24 hours. After the 24 hours, the piece is no longer available and they’ll have something new for sale.
The first piece I purchased was this Rose Gold Infinity Ring for $28 (originally $100). While I like the rose gold, the ring itself felt more flimsy than my Stella & Dot rings (which I absolutely love). I can’t imagine anyone paying $100 for this!
Despite my lukewarm feelings about the ring, when I saw this gold Aelia Bracelet Set for $34 (originally $146), I knew I had to buy it. They were a great fit for my tiny wrist, and the quality felt much better than the ring.
Because I’m obsessed with bracelets, I went ahead and bought the Clover Bracelet Set for $31 (originally $114). The clover design reminds me of Van Cleef & Arpels, but without the $$$$ price tag. Again, the fit was good for my wrist, and the quality wasn’t bad either.
While Daily Vice can be a hit-or-miss, part of the fun is waiting to see which pieces will get featured. Shipping is free, and each piece comes with its own little pouch as well as a handwritten note thanking you for the purchase :) Oh and for every 5 piece you buy, you get the 6th piece at 50% off!
Overall I’ve been very happy with my purchase and checking my app at 3pm (when the new piece comes out) has become a daily ritual. If you’re looking for some unique jewelry pieces at an affordable price, I highly recommend downloading Daily Vice. Hope you enjoyed this haul, and have a great rest of the week!
