Recent Sephora beauty hauls
I go through these phases where I’m obsessed with different things: when I first moved, it was home decor, then it was bags and shoes, and then I went crazy with stationery, and now I’m back to obsessing over skincare and makeup. Take a look at what beauty goodies I picked up from Sephora recently :)
Swagbucks was having a deal where you get 1500 Swagbucks (redeemable for a $15 gift card to a retailer of your choice!) for spending $20 at Sephora, so I picked up the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette and the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in #17. What can I say, I’m a sucker for anything that claims to give my skin a beautiful glow!
I do love that this palette comes with 3 different shades – a neutral beige ‘dim light’, a champagne ‘incandescent light’, and a golden beige ‘radiant light’. At first I didn’t like this at all, but the more I use it the more I’m starting to love it. Will be reviewing this in my beauty docket really soon :)
#17 Rose in Tension is a beautiful shade for the fall and winter, but I wanted something I could wear in the warmer season, so I picked up the more muted #9 Nude in Private. It’s a gorgeous MLBB color, and I love how shiny and soft this makes my lips!
Seeing how much I love my DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, I figured it’s time to add another good-for-your-face oil to my skincare routine. That and I’m starting to notice fine lines appear near my eyes when I smile. and that’s absolutely terrifying. The Tarte Maracuja Oil received not only great reviews on Sephora, but it also comes highly recommended by one of my favorite beauty blogger Kerry at Skin & Tonics. I have high hopes for this!
One thing I do like about ordering from Sephora (rather than shopping in store) are the free samples you get. Usually I’m whatever about the samples, but I’m super excited to try out the Eve Lom Cleanser to see what the hype is about. The Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar eye is perfect too because I’m on the search for a new eye cream. Oh the woes of getting older :( The Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana was a pleasant surprise though – I actually really like the scent! Into the wishlist it goes ;)
I’ll be posting reviews of these products soon, and I also have more skincare goodies shipping from Korea that I’ll be sharing once I receive them. I’m so excited!
On a totally off topic note – the new theme is finally up!! Hope you all like it and enjoyed this post!
