Hi everyone! I’m finally back from my amazing trip to Paris + London, and oh my goodness, the word amazing does not do the city of Paris justice! The food, the scenery, the lifestyle, the shopping, and even the people – everything has been incredible there.
So obviously I brought my trusty Sony A5000 on this trip, but as I was reviewing the photos I realized I took them all in jpeg format instead of RAW! :( So excuse the iffy quality – I tried my best to edit them!

The Louvre Pyramid at night, which I think is even more stunning than the day view. There were at least 3 couples here taking their engagement photos!

The beautiful Notre Dame. The line to climb the towers are separate and the 300+ stairs is quite the workout, but the view you get is worth it.

View of the city from the towers of Notre Dame. Quite the sight no?

Strolling down a typical Parisian street. I love the architecture there, it’s so beautiful!

Eiffel Tower at night from Jardins du Trocadero – definitely the best place to go if you want a good view of the tower.

Yay for finally meeting Carol from Twopartsofone! She has that effortless chic style of a typical Parisian and is one of my favorite fashion/lifestyle bloggers! :D

Another scenic view of the Eiffel Tower along the Seine, which means of course, another popular spot for engagement photos!

Brownie points to whoever recognizes this bridge! No brownie points to my husband who doesn’t know how to focus the camera -_-

The Petit Palais is a free art museum 5 minutes away from where we were staying. The collection can’t compare to the Musée d’Orsay, but the building + the garden were stunning.
There are a lot more photos from Paris and London that I’ll be sharing in a later post :) If you’re interested in reading more about the sights we visited, the restaurants we ate at, a shopping haul post, or anything specific related to the trip, let me know! Have a wonderful weekend!
I love to see pictures and read/hear about people’s travel. I don’t think I could travel, myself, but I love this post and those posts about going to awesome places like Paris and whatnot. Glad you had a great time. Pictures came out wonderfully.
Beautiful photos! I especially like the one of Notre Dame and the view from it. Such lovely architecture. The Eiffel Tower also looks amazing at night.
That’s awesome that you met a blogger while there! I’ve met a few in Texas, and I hope to meet more :D
I wish I had time to see Paris when I was in London. We even looked into the train ride there from London, but my work-related stuff just took up too many days. For now, I’ll have to live vicariously through your photos ;) Can’t wait to see more!
Thank you Cat! That’s a shame you didn’t get to visit Paris while in London – the train was super fast and took just 2 hours! It’s definitely a city that takes time to explore though, hopefully you’ll get a chance to visit soon!
So cool! I love your photos! I can’t wait to see more pictures from your travels!

Thank you Sophie!
so stunning!!
Thank you Lynda!
Your photos make me so jealous, I miss Paris so much, I might blog about my previous trip to Paris last year because it really was amazing. Just being there felt so magical and I’ve never felt so much happiness/belonginess in such a long time <3 I am convinced that I will become a French girl living there one day ;)
Hope you had fun! I can't wait to see more pictures of London! I had a London/Paris trip last year too actually haha!
I’d love to read about your Paris trip last year, and maybe get tips for my next trip, haha :P Living there would be incredible, and if I had the chance I’d definitely do it :D
Nice photos! Looks like you had a wonderful time on your Euro trip! I really need to get my butt to Europe one of these days XD Especially London! I’m an Anglophile, so I can’t wait to see your posts on London!
Thanks Tara! I’ll blog about this later, but London is a wonderful city that has the perfect balance of historic and modern elements. And their parks are simply gorgeous!
I was in Paris a few months ago and I have to agree with you that the word Amazing doesn’t do the city justice! Your photos brought me back, they are fantastic. Thank you!

Right? It’s really a city you have to experience for yourself to understand its beauty and wonder! Hopefully the heat didn’t affect your trip too much – I heard they had a brutally hot summer this year!
Excited to see your other pictures! Looks like you had a great time. Also, very cool that you met a blogger you’ve only met online! I read about bloggers meeting bloggers and I’m always so jealous. It’s amazing how you can form connections with someone because of the way technology has expanded boundaries.
It’s crazy but there are so many local bloggers that I’ve never met, and to think that when I do meet them it would be in a different continent! Thank you technology! :D
Oh my gosh! Look at these photos! They are beautiful RAW or not because PARIS. :) My aunt has been to Paris and she said “you don’t need to go, you live in America it’s like the same thing.” Well we certainly not, we don’t have fancy architecture like that! I’m so glad you included a photo of Notre Dame and the view because I just watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame and it was so good!
AND OMG YOU MET CAROL!!!!!!!! Isn’t that so amazing?! Carol is probably the blogger I’ve known longest! I was so excited when I saw you beautiful girls in a photo together. Wheeee.
Haha, yes, the fact that the photos were taken in Paris help! :P You know your aunt isn’t the first one I’ve heard that seems unphased by Paris. Maybe she’s been there so many times it’s lost its appeal? But yeah, the architecture is something you definitely won’t find in the US – everything is so beautiful and ornate!
Yes!! I can’t even remember when I started following her, but it’s incredible how blogging can bring people from all over the world together! :D
Hahaha! Omg, it’d be very awesome if we could someday MEET IN NEW YORK with Jenny! I haven’t been to that part of the earth before! And Liv, I guess you’re also one of the longest bloggers that I’ve known. All those blog friends from my early years of blogging seems to have disappeared!
Lovely photos Jenny! I can’t wait to see more photos! Great shots of all those touristic places! YES! I wanna see everything! From the food you ate, any restaurants that you picked, and listening to your shopping hauls, I wanna see them alllllll! :D <3 Aww, hehe, I didn't think of myself like that, effortless chic haha <3. I'm super super glad to have met you! You're so cute in person and fun to talk to <3
YES!! Can we make that happen please?? The crazy thing is that even though I visit New York once every few months (we have friends up there), I never actually visit any of the tourist sights. So if you ever visit, we can be tourists together, haha
I think my husband took all the food photos (he loves eating, clearly) so I’ll need to steal that from his phone. I’m so glad to have met you too, and hopefully we’ll get to hang out again in the future! :D
