Well those were 2 long months that went by without blogging, and while I enjoyed the break at first, towards the end of November I was dying to update. If it weren’t for exams, I’d be working on a new theme now, but hopefully it’ll be up in time for Christmas :D
Though I’ve taken a hiatus from blogging, I certainly couldn’t take one from shopping (money saving fail? lol). After all, it’s one of the few things that keep me sane during the school year (I have a lot to rant about that too). So of the many things I bought, the first I want to share with you all is… CLIP-ON HAIR EXTENSIONS!
I’ve turned to these babies since I realized that my hair is:
- Thinning. I used to complain that I have too much hair, too. I want to go back in time and kick myself now.
- Can never grow past my chest. Probably because I overkill it by straightening, curling, and coloring.
And come on, who doesn’t like a head full of thick, sexy hair? Well, maybe not everyone, but I do. In the past, I’ve used a 1-piece artificial hair extension, which I bought from Ebay for around $24. It was pre-curled with just the right amount of waves and blended perfectly with my hair. For a couple months, this worked really well, but after a couple uses (and I’d store them really carefully too!), it got MAD tangled. If any of you have played with Barbies before, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
I got the extensions today, and they’re super soft! I was prepared to color my hair to match the extensions’ color, but the color turned out to be a perfect match for my current hair. But for some reason a small chunk (more like a couple strands really) fell out right when I opened the package, which made me a little sad :( Other than that, I’m loving these babies!
Have you ever worn hair extensions before? If not, would you want to?
