My everyday makeup look
- Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid – $8.99
I like using this on extra dry spots before applying bb cream or foundation to prevent my skin from flaking.
- Lumene Vitamin C+ Illuminating Anti-Age BB Cream (light) – $14.99
Asian bb creams tend to be too light for my skin and leaves a grayish cast :( Though American bb creams are mostly glorified tinted moisturizers, Lumene’s actually provides decent coverage, SPF20, and skin brightening benefits!
- Stila One Step Illuminate – $36
I’m obsessed with the dewey skin look, so I like to mix this with my Lumene BB Cream. Bonus points for its skin boosting serum properties!
- L’oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer – $12.99
I actually use this as a highlighter, as it provides the most natural glow. I also like Benefit’s High Beam, but I find it a bit too much for a day look.
- Maybelline Color Tatoo Eyeshadow (Bad to the Bronze) – $6.99
I love using this or Barely Beige as an eyeshadow base. When I’m in a rush, this is all I need to give my lids a nice wash of color.
- Kate Gradical Eyes (BR-3)
This has been a longtime favorite since my college days, and as much as I love my UD Naked, I still reach for this when I just need a nice neutral day look.
- Benefit They’re Real Mascara – $23
My first “non-drugstore” mascara. The little wrecking ball tip of the wand is pretty magical – it really does lengthen my lashes, though it can also clump when I forget to wipe off the excess product.
- Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner – $7.99
While I didn’t have a great first impression of this, I found myself using it more and more sheerly out of convenience. I also found it to smudge less when used in combination with my Maybelline Eyeshadow.
- L’oreal Colour Riche Caresse Lip Lacquer (Rose On and On) – $9.99
I’m in love with this product. The color is just a beautiful peony pink, and it leaves a nice stain once it dries. Many reviewers have compared it to the YSL Glossy Stains ($34), but at a 1/3 of the price.
- Nars Blush (Orgasm) – $29
One of the most well known blushes in makeup, and one of my first high end products. Though I rotate through my blushes regularly, I always find myself coming back to my Nars Orgasm for its beautiful color.
I was pretty shocked at my lashes in the after photo – it looks like I’m wearing falsies, but I’m not. I’m telling you, that Benefit They’re Real Mascara wand is magical! The camera also washed out my blush color a bit, but I promise it’s visible in person!
Hope you all enjoyed this post, and let me know if you’d like in-depth review on any of the products! :)
