Review: Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm (discontinued)
I’m such a sucker for pretty packaging and anything pink, so naturally this caught my eye when I was browsing Sephora. I’ve heard great reviews for it too, so I figured, why not?
It is enriched with a rare and precious Damask Rose essential oil extract, an anti-aging complex, energizing vitamins A and vitamin E, and shea butter for a long-lasting regenerating and smoothing anti-wrinkle effect. It leaves the lips optimally soothed, moisturized and nourished.
Usually lip balms tend to leave a waxy residue on my lips, not really absorbing fully. The Dior Creme de Rose lip balm, on the other hand, melts on my lips when applied and makes them super soft! I also really like the scent of this product – it’s light and not overbearing, unlike other rose lip balms out there.
I like massaging the Dior Creme de Rose lip balm right before bed and the results are noticeable the next morning: my lips are no longer dry and peeling. In less than a week after I started using this I noticed smoother lipstick application, and just softer lips overall. In the winter the effects of this lip balm are especially noticeable, nothing else I’ve tried manages to moisturize and nourish my lips quite like this one.
