Hot cleansing gel actually sounds pretty awesome. I’d like to give several of these products a go because I haven’t before, and especially because you’ve recommended them haha.

    Have a great week :)

Haha, I love your mention of your collection of cleansers being ‘5 too many for the average person’. Your collection is certainly impressive babe! Most of these are new introductions to me, making this post all the more interesting to read through :)

  3. Thanks so much for your sharing !! Really need to have a good moisturizer for this winter, my skin always dry out…

  4. I am always interested in knowing what others use on their skin. I have sensitive skin so even if there is a good review I still have to be cautious. I have only used Kate Sommerville and Oskia brands from these listed, although I do have I think about 4 cleansers opened currently and an unfiltered black soap bar. Thanks for your thoughts on these. Come winter I will be slightly changing my cleansing/skincare regimen.

Erno Laszlo has such a design – the ‘charcoal’ bits are so pretty *o*. Althea green tea one is great, the rose one is not bad but I’m on a green tea side :)

  6. I feel like while I’ve tried a lot of cleansers and they were nice but I haven’t discovered any holy grail cleansers or ones I had strong feelings for. I definitely need to try some of these cleansers, anything that exfoliates and/or contains AHAs/BHAs – i’m usually obsessed with.

  7. I adore like freaking adore Oskia and both CeRave cleansers. They are permanently in my rotation and I reach for either one multiple times in a week.

  8. Rowena says:

I definitely view cleansing as a key step of my skincare routine because it sets the foundation for the products that I apply afterwards and I vary between a few depending on the time of day, whether I’m removing my makeup and what if I’m doing any other treatments. I haven’t tried any of these but I do have the Joanna Vargas Miracle Bar sitting in my stash. I love the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel in the AM and the Oskia Citylife Cleansing Concentrate in the PM if I’ve been out and about. Anti-pollution skincare has been my thing since the summer.

  9. I have four cleanser open right now. Five if you count the almost finished, very generous sample I have and six if I add the MV skincare Pure Jojoba which is marketed as eye makeup remover/ oil cleanser.
So I actually think six cleansers is about average for a well groomed person *cough*
Completely agree with you on the name rant though, it is very hard to convince me of a product after I heard it sports Detox anywhere on the packaging…

I used to complain about having way too many liquid cleansers, but I am slowly running out and I spotted this post in the right time! I haven’t tried half of these brands, so would be great to see what works for my dry af skin lol Thanks for your recommendations, Jenny! xx

  12. Alyssa says:

I love the Althea Skin Detoxer but the Green Tea version because it really helps a lot with my acne. Also, I’ve been eyeing that Kate Sommerville cleanser, it sounds good.

I agree so much about the Althea cleanser/mask…I love the two versions so much! I had a peeling jelly from Detclear in the past and loved it! The cleanser here sounds so intriguing! And The one from Lather I spotted in your Instagram feed today is very interesting too!

  14. Lindsey says:

Wow, yes, that is a lot of cleansers! But hey, they all have their different uses. I am particularly interested in that cleansing bar since I’m looking for some zero-waste facial cleansing options! Thanks for sharing :)
