Remember those 2 weeks when I was without Internet? Well of course, there wasn’t much to do, so I spent quite a bit of time at the mall. Alright, so the whole no Internet thing was an excuse, who am I kidding, I don’t need an excuse to shop xD It doesn’t help either that all these stores I love sent me coupons for my birthday – best marketing scheme ever IMO.
This was my birthday present to myself. My mom swears by high-end lipsticks, and I’ve heard so many good reviews about the YSL ones I decided it would be nice to have one in my collection. I originally ordered it in 07 – Lingerie Pink, which is a light barbie pink. I so wanted to like that color, except it looked horrible on me T_T
I love the Anastasia shimmer highlighter, it works really well on the inner corners of my eyes, making them pop without looking tacky :) The Fresh sugar lip treatment duo were my birthday presents from Sephora . They smell quite nice and moisturize well, but unfortunately don’t last very long.
I got this when I went to Sephora to exchange the YSL lipstick color. It also came with a little Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, which I’ve tried in the past and really liked. I’ve heard good things about their Amazonian clay blushes, so I’m wondering if the shadows will be as good :3
Showtime has become my go-to highlighter because it gives me the perfect amount of glow/shimmer to make my cheekbones pop. It’s also a lot less messy than powder, though I might switch in the summer for fear of the cream melting off my face :x
My friend got these for my birthday :) This is the first time I’ve owned LUSH products and I’m excited to try them out. I have to clean my bathtub first though, which I’m not looking forward to -_-
So this last one isn’t really beauty related, but my other friend got this teddy bear for me from Korea and she’s just too cute to pass up for this post :P
I haven’t decided on a name for her yet, so suggestions are welcome Gail suggested Kim Chi, which I absolutely love :3 Thanks for the suggestion!
