Bienvenido a Miami
Finally, after 2 months of being MIA, I want to say that I’ll be blogging regularly again, but that’s just not gonna happen :/ My parents are moving back to Taiwan at the end of July and I’ll be moving out on my own, so we’re all busy packing. But hey, it’s still summer vacation for me, and I’m going to enjoy it to the fullest, which means beaches, theme parks, more beaches, and just fun in general. First escape: Miami.
We spent 2 days there at a hotel just 5 minutes away from Lincoln Blvd. and the beach. Ocean Drive, another good tourist destination with lots of restaurants and bars, was further though. Instead of cabbing there, we rented these go-carts!
And of course, what would a trip be without good food and a night out? Ironically none of the “fancy” restaurants we visited had great food, but the holes-in-the-wall places were sure delicious. As for the club we chose to go to for our last night, it’s supposed to be one of the hottest clubs in Miami (Mansion anyone?), and while the decor was nice, the people were…pretty ugly LOL
I wish we could’ve stayed for more than 2 days, but alas, everyone except me work, so our vacation days were limited. We definitely didn’t get to do everything we wanted, which included jet skiing and swimming with the dolphins. Oh well, next time :(
On another note[1. I wanted to write a post on this but I got too lazy], I graduated! :D Good bye college life, and hello grad school! Which reminds me, I’m gonna need to change the tag line[2. Blog of a web designer + college student + shopaholic] on my blog. Suggestions anyone?
